Åse Løvgren, Stine Gonsholt and Alexander Rishaug will be working at BEK March 11th – 16th. They will add sound to their video project, and do sound- and image editing. Also, they will record voice over.

Bjørg Taranger’s project Det hvite toget (The White Train) is a video installation projected onto the large windows in Kunstgarasjen. BEK has been consultant during the development of the project, Lars Ove Toft has set up the sound and the media players in the exhibition space, and Stian Remvik has mapped the videos onto the many window surfaces by using MadMapper.
During the next couple of weeks Terese Stenhjem will be developing her work at BEK. The exhibition The Poacher’s Dream by Eleanor Clare og Dillan Marsh consist of multiple channels of sound and video – spoken and sung narratives that unfold as one moves through the space. BEK has been advising the duo while they were developing the project, and has contributed with technical equipment for the production of the work and for the exhibition at Visningsrommet USF.
During the spring time, Esayas Henok has been editing three film and video projects in BEK’s video studio. Ekaka, a film series for and with children, will be screened at Bergen International Culture Centre on May 10th.

For the exhibition Stilleben no. 2 (Still Life no. 2), opening at Visningsrommet USF on Friday March 2nd, Maria Øy Lojo presents a new series of spacial video installations. Øy Lojo has been using BEK’s equipment and project spaces for movie recording and editing.
On Saturday Dec 2nd Andrew Amorim’s exhibition The Future Stands Still, But We Move In Infinite Space opens, as third and last part of the exhibition series Photographic Field Trips at Bergen Kjøtt. Amorim has been using BEK’s video studio for all video editing, and the playback is set up in a network by Stian Remvik at BEK.
