For the finissage for the exhibition “Dynamiske konstanter” in an old factory building in Ytre Arna outside of Bergen, HITYAMAC will perform a new site-specific piece.

As part of Hovefestivalen’s artistic program, Benedicte Clementsen will show two art works. In Bunker 37 she displays her video installation One Combination Like Any Other (two channel video (HD) (6:11 min) and audio (17:11 min), looped) ; on the Pebble Beach, which is part of the festival site, she shows performances at announced times.

On the occasion of the elpee release of musical duo THE JIST, there was a big celebration at landmark with music, performances, dance and art. BEK has supported Henrik Koppen with equipment for his performance. The materials he will be performing with are: glass bottles, birch sap, projection and a funnel. The performance will last for 20 minutes.

Performance for the Borealis Festival by Idunn Aune Forland and Anne Marthe Dyvi on Wednesday the 19th and Thursday the 20th of March at Oestre in Bergen.

Rural Reading Room is a series of artistic situations aiming at re-configurating objects, materials and sounds, highlighting the materiality of the landscape. The format consists of a tabletop, where the arrangement of objects placed on the table reconstruct a fragmented, concrete and material landscape. BEK supported the project with equipment.

Performance Art Bergen and BEK invite you to join in for Performance Nå 4, Saturday 23 November from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the C. Sundtsgate 55
Performance Nå 4 is curated by Karen Kiphoff(PAB) and presents artists who in different ways work at the interface between performance art and electronic art.

BEK is involved in the light festival in Solund in November 2013. Anne Marthe Dyvi and HC Gilje are participating artists and have contributed to the development of the format.

Moviestar is an interactive installation that moulds old and new media together in order to create a real-life moving filmset. Classic film, animation, robotics, sound and motion tracking are utilised to simulate a movie scene where visitors play the main role. Movistar is co-produced by BIT-Teatergarasjen and BEK, and presented at the Meteor Festival, opening Thursday October 17 – kl. 17:00
