Operasjon Almenrausch

Operation Almenrausch was the covername of the biggest operation against Norwegian resistance during the second world war, the attack on communist camp Buahaugen, in 1944. However, the operation is not commonly known today.

Tore Vagn Lid takes a look at stories standing in the shadow of “good” war history. Operation Almenrausch won a Hedda Award in 2009.

Knut Vaage: Veslefrikk

BEK assists the composer Knut Vaage in the development of the opera “Veslefrikk”, commissioned by Den Nye Opera. Veslefrikk will be premiered Friday 29. October at Den Nationale Scene, Småscenen.

Thorolf Thuestad from BEK collaborates with the composer on programming and sound design for the opera project.
