Marieke Verbiesen will travel to the Hiroshima International Film Festival between 18th and 22nd of August to present her interactive installation M-Machine to the Japanese audience.
Se og Les Barne- og ungdomslitteraturkonferanse finner sted i Bergen 3-5 februar 2014, og samler forfattere, formidlere, illustratører, foredragsholdere, kulturarbeidere og kritikere fra hele landet. Trond Lossius will participate in the workshop Sketching Sonic Interaction Design at Holon Institute of Technology, Israel. The workshop is followed by meetings related to the COST–SID research project on Sonic Interaction Design.

Trond Lossius, director of BEK, is one of two Norwegian delegates to the management committee of the European research project Sonic Interaction Design (SID). This is a four year project running from 2007 to 2011.
