Sonarc game beta event, with Espen Sommer Eide and Stian Remvik

Sonarc is an artistic computer game based on the manipulation of sound in a 3D landscape. In an “open world” structure, sound objects can be manipulated in different ways and put together into music and sound collections, as well as being the starting point for creating tasks that need to be solved.

Marieke Verbiesen at Digital Narrative Network Conference

Marieke Verbeisen will give the presentation “Bit Crushes & Square Waves” about her exhibition series Sonic Game Space at the Digital Narrative Network Conference. The conference and exhibition is a cross-faculty initiative that will present a keynote by N. Katherine Hayles on literature and AI, a series of presentations by scholars, artists and authors, and an exhibition of digital narratives.

GumGun is here!

On November 30th GumGun will be released! GumGun is a frantic and insanely rewarding 2D shoot ‘em up game for iOS and Android. It has super easy controls and can be played with one hand. GumGun is made by Stian Remvik, who does programming and software development for BEK on freelance basis.
