ComputerMusic4Kids is an interactive installation for kids, inviting them to explore the history and sound of gaming consoles. The installation is included in the Bajazz Festival, Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of April
Moviestar is an interactive installation by Marieke Verbiesen & Neeltje Sprengers. The installation moulds old and new media together in order to create a reallife moving filmset. Classic 16mm film, animation, robotics, sound and motiontracking are used to simulate a real life filmset where visitors play the mainrole.
Elektromagnetic Fountain is one of two art works in an exhibition at Norsk Telemuseum dealing with the invisible electromagnetic radiation surrounding us, generated by numerous electric devices and installations. The work vizualizes the surrounding electromagnetic fields and invites reflections on the nature of this invisible landscape.
BEK is one of several nodes of the PNEK network that have been assisting Amanda Steggell in the development of the work.
Gerhard Eckels ‘Catabolizer’ installation will be open for the public throughout the week of the Borealis Festival at Rom 8 in Vaskerelven.

Samtidsvideo på Kunst i Badet
Samtidsvideomønstringen ble startet i 2006, arrangeret av Mediaverkstedet i Bergen (MiB) i samarbeid med KunstiBadet, med hensikt å gi både publikum og deltakere et innblikk i hva som beveger seg innen digitale medier. Med en teknologi som er under konstant utvikling gir dette nye muligheter til kunstnere som jobber med digitale utrykk.
Mahlet Ogbe’s contribution to the new exibition at Gallery 3,14, is a video piece based on how grief and mourning is expressed in her homeland Eritrea. It’s shown inside the old bank vault, which gives a close and intens experience of what this videowork is about.
The Signatur youngsters will play a trigging consert at Avgarde on Saturday 8th of May. The event will take place in Tårnet at Bergen Art Museum. Last chance to add finishing touches to samples and costumes was on Saturday, 1th of May.
