The ritual of walking in a circle

Bergen Center for Electronic Arts have curated an exhibition for Ephemeral Sustainability, a conference about presenting, documenting, collecting and archiving electronic/soundbased/ephemeral art in Bergen. The conference is produced/programmed and hosted by Lydgalleriet.

Rad #4 Kom la oss drepe tyngdens ånd / Mesterlektien

Rad#4 er et sekstimers kunstarrangement i Latinskolen fra 1706, i Mesterlektien, den 16.juni kl 18.00.
Programmet består av opplesninger fra tekster valgt ut av et antall inviterte lesere. Utvalget er igjen satt sammen til en komposisjon av opplesning, foredrag, lyd, musikk, mat, performative grep, poesi og film.

Borealis-event at IKEA

IKEA Bergen are moving to new premisses in Åsane. The last Saturday before the move Borealis music festival organize an event at the old store. Trond Lossius and Anna Wignell will present the site-specific installation Pieces of bits while disassembling (for IKEA), while Roar Sletteland will present Eske med platespiller.

Galleri Fisk exhibits works by Barbora Švarcova & Dana Machajová, two art students from Prague.

BEK provides equipment to the exhibition.

Sara Rajaei: “The continuous ends connected to the beginnings”

Foundation 3,14 is presenting a video screening program by Sara Rajaei (Iran/Netherland). The 35 min screening program presents five of her works. On March 22 an evening program will present additional works.

The program is curated by Trond Lossius, and co-curated by Malin Barth. BEK provides equipment for the exhibition.

01 TV-Reality on Public Screens in Bergen

This first event of the Reality Show takes place in the centre of Bergen 27-29 January. Screen-based works are displayed in several shop windows around town. One of the participants, Dan Mihaltianu, finished his video-work New Working Class Heroes at BEK’s studio.

Exhibition opening and the launch of the magazine FØLGENE. Nine artists, nine artworks and a nine paragraph text constructing a chain of art.

BEK has contributed with access to editing facilities, expertise and technical equipment.

The exhibition opens on Friday 20. January, and is open for two more days.
