nyMusikk invites you on a sound excursion to the high-end speaker factory SEAS in Moss, starting with a bus ride from Oslo that includes a literary lecture on sound by UK musician, author and critic David Toop. The anechoic chamber at SEAS features a sound installation by Trond Lossius, and in the factory space, vocalist and composer Stine Janvin Motland will demonstrate a new measuring and musical instrument that detects and regenerates body frequencies

Static theatre is a new type of theatre researched and experimented on by Jingyi Wang. She looks at the collaboration between visual arts, electronic arts and theatre, but also the boundary between exhibition and performance in an attempt to seek out the theatre’s essence as an art form. The choral work “for stadig å bli“ (again and again, to become) deals with listening and distance. The general layout is created by Knut Vaage, based on an initiative from Sissel Lillebostad. Gneis, with conductor Tore Kloster, shapes the piece on site.
