The artist and researcher Ximena Alarcón from CRISAP (Creative Research in Sound Arts Practice) visits BEK in week 7. Friday February 19 she will give an artist talk, presenting her artistic practise, and also discuss her ongoing work on ‘Sound Matters: a framework for the creative use and re-use of sound’.

Ana Rita António & Sara Santos at Bergen Kjøtt. Opening on 11. Dec at 19.00. In this exhibition, both artists evoke – in very distinct approaches – the power within objects. With special focus on their ‘performative’ or symbolic features we are invited to question the object’s autonomy throughout installation and film works. BEK supports the exhibition with equipment.
